I agree with ausch. This device is marketed to skilled midi users that seek to expand the possibilities of their current set-up... not for beginners... but its possible to learn if you commit to your $600 investment. The reason the ohm64 is great is because it is FREE of all the "copycat" default programming that makes most of today's hardware (and artists) suck! This device rocks for live use, production, and experimentation. P.S. if you know anything about working in Ableton and or midi it should be obvious that you are never limited to "8 samples in 8 tracks" just because there are 8 physical sliders. That is the beauty of midi... the possibilities are endless once you commit. Sorry to be such a toad, this is just my opinion and nothing to be taken personally.

dude quit being such a fucking snob. that controller is rad. if you have to sit and twiddle your thumbs because it didn't come with auto mapping, and a coloring book like direction manual, then give up.
